Well, Hi everyone!! I think I told all of you about Sadie, Well, She went to a good home. Anyway, I put this picture up because I thought all of you would like it!! :) I love it!!! It is my fav. one of him!! Well, we just went for a walk down to the river and back, we saw like 6 dead deer!! They all must have been hit on the road, but I thought that some of them looked like they were attacked by coyotes. We also saw a dead possum on the road as well, but my brother Elijah's fav. part is when we saw the most beautiful black "horsie" (as Elijah says it) that I've ever seen!! It looked a lot like how they described "Black Beauty" in the book, It had the white star on the forehead and had a beautiful black, silky mane and tail that I had ever seen!! I fell in love with it at once!! :) Well, I've got to run!! Sarah

Puppy Love

Well, this is a sad story, but with a good ending. We gave away our puppy today, I am so heartbroken, I was really attached to her, but my MOM couldn't stand her, so some friends of ours sent this post to there friend who's girlfriend had lost her 1st puppy when she was gone, so she was really excited to see that there was a free puppy, so she said she would take her, my heart broke at the sight of Sadie ( that's the puppy's name) running behind my legs and whimpering. But I'm over it now, The picture up on top is her.

And were back, with an update on the H.I.S Players performance. Sarah Gumness will give you a sneak peak on the upcoming play, "Mid-summer Night's Dream" Thank you, yes, the upcoming play is a huge hit for you romance,comedy lovers. Sorry I haven't been writing, have been soooooo busy with H.I.S Players and all. Oh, just to let everyone know, the performances are all at WB High school, May 4Th and 5Th @ 7:00 pm.

I just got this e-mail from a friend of mine, I thought you might enjoy it:



The Package
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.
For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a
dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it,
he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his
father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his
graduation, his father called him into his private study. His
father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son,and told him how much he loved him.

He handed his son a beautifully wrapped gift box.

Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box
and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name
embossed in gold.

Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, "With all
your money, you give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house,
leaving the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in
business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his
father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.

He had not seen him since that graduation day.
Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling
him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to
his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.

When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret
filled his heart. He began to search through his father's important
papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago.
With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. His
father had carefully underlined a verse:

Matthew 7:11, "And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts
to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which is
in heaven, give to those who ask Him?"

As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the
Bible.

It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the
sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation,
and the words...

PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not
packaged as we expected?

Fun Day!!!

Hi Everyone!!
Sorry I haven't writing for a long time, we have been very busy the last few days, and we were also sick at one point. But here I am!! :) Anyway, we are enjoying our "cold" April!! :) I still can't believe that it snowed yesterday!! I mean, in the middle of April!! WOW!! Well, at least it will all melt soon!! :) Today, Brant and Big Josh from B+N Basketball team, and Kyle Vogelmann came over to practice for the 24=2 this friday and saturday, they are going to play on sat. from 12 to 2. I hope they do well!! Well, I've got to run!! Sarah

Easter Afternoon!!

Hey all!!
Well, it's Easter Afternoon!!! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!! I did!! It was SO funny!! Ben hid Nate's basket and Nate hid Ben's basket!! Ben found his right away though, he was looking by the movie cabinet and looked behind the video's and found his! Poor Nate!! He so wanted Ben to have a hard time looking for it, but Ben found it. Nate found his after a while of hard searching, he was SO upset that he took so long. Oh well, a least he found it, right? Right. Well, anyway, We had a fun time searching for our eggs, we all had separate colored eggs, so we had to find our one color eggs, and if we found someone Else's egg color, we wouldn't tell them. Here are our colors: Ben: orange, Nate: blue, Me: pink, Micah: purple, Isaiah: green, Josiah: gold, Elijah: light purple and Noah: yellow. And after all that, we had a lovely ham dinner with mashed potato's, sweet potato's, green beans and delicious punch as our beverage, with cantaloupe to finish it, YUM!! Well, got to run!! Sarah

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter everyone!! Well, I only have about fifteen minutes to write this all down, so I better hurry!!:) Well, lets see, where should I start? How about this morning? OK!! Well, I woke up VERY late, about 10:00, WHOA!! Well, anyway, I had Noah in my bed with me so I kind of had to stay up with him until he fell asleep, so I got out of bed, picked up Noah, and went down the stairs, on the way, I met my mom half-way down and said "Good morning" and she said likewise to me. So I finally got down the stairs to the kitchen and went to the living room and watched "Mary Poppins" and enjoyed the movie, but my time is up so I have to say Bye!!

New Day!!

Happy Easter to everyone who is to read this.
Well, speaking of Easter, I was just at Awana's the other night, and Mrs Faber (the "head" leader) was saying that we would have no Awana's next Monday night because of Easter, and a Sparky (one of the kids) next to me looked up at me and said "I can't wait for Easter because I get all the presents and egg hunts and candy, I just can't wait!!" and I said "Really?! That's cool!!" But what I should have said is "That's very fun and yummy :), but.. that's not all Easter is about, it's also about Christ dying for our sins and then, on the third day, rise again!! That's what Easter is all about!!" So for next time, I should remind myself of that night.


Well, off the Easter role, my brothers (Ben and Nate) went to work at a friends house, they won't be home until about 5:00 o'clock. and then, later, the might be going out to hand out tracks at the Salvation Army. So they won't be home until about 9:00 o'clock. They left at 7:00, I feel bad for them!!! :( But, anyway, there doing a good job!! Bye!!

Day: Cleaning Day!!

Yes, it's cleaning day here in the Gumness House, Whoo Hoo!! How much fun is that???;) I absolutely HATE cleaning the bathroom, moping,scrubbing,washing down EVRYTHING!! But I have finnily finished and am here right now writing this out, Well, geuss what?? It was SNOWING!!! Yes, SNOWING!!! I can't believe it is snowing outside, I thought we were done with snow, but nooooo, it has returned, and is haunting us!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! LOL!!! Well, See ya!!!
